Off the beaten path feels different in the Rubies.
We are offering several daily adventures for our summer program to choose from. Venture into the Lamoille Canyon wilderness with hikes ranging from 2-8 miles with high alpine crystal clear mountain lakes each mile of the way. Take in the beauty of the Ruby Mountains with 50 peaks above 10,000 feet of elevation and 15 peaks higher than 11,000 feet. Lose yourself in the midst of old growth aspen forests and white bark pine trees. With year-round flowing creeks and streams throughout the Ruby Mountains, the jaw-dropping Rubies have unlimited terrain to explore.

Wakesurf & boat cruise with our 23 foot LSV Malibu Wakesetter on the nearby South Fork Reservoir State Park. Surf Nevada, enjoy the day on the lake under the Nevada blue sky with catered on the go scrumptious lunches.
Enjoy any number of other activities, including mountain biking, clay target shooting, various hikes, hot tub with a view, lawn games, and live music.

Located at 7,000 and 9,700 feet, our yurts comfortably sleep 4-6 people. Each yurt is equipped with solar power, kitchen, and fireplace. While the lower yurt can be accessed by car, the high yurt is accessible by hiking.
Feeling more adventurous? Hike to our high alpine yurt located at 10,000 feet on the top of a knife edge ridge in Conrad Creek. The high yurt hike gains roughly 3,000 vertical feet in 3 miles. Crossing multiple creeks, the high yurt hike offers a bit of everything with travel starting in the valley through sage brush, increasing in elevation through aspen and pine forests and arriving on top of the Conrad Creek surrounded by 300 foot granite canyon walls. Once at the yurt, the views are endless with magical sights deep into the Rubies.
